People Leader Series

Most people become leaders before they feel ready. Most organizations hope for the best.

Being a people leader means navigating conversations, emotions, expectations, and decisions that don’t come with a script. This five-session series provides practical tools for:

  • Setting expectations that don’t get misunderstood
  • Giving feedback without damaging trust
  • Coaching without taking over
  • Holding people accountable while protecting dignity
  • Managing reactions when things feel tense or personal

5 Virtual Sessions • Oct. 22-Nov. 19, 2026 • Thursdays at 2 pm EST • $300 per person

Each 90-minute session focuses on a core leadership skill and includes simple frameworks, practical application, and opportunities to reflect on real situations leaders face every day.

Session 1: Emotional Agility for People Leaders
Understanding why we react the way we do and how to respond with intention instead.

Session 2: Setting Expectations That Actually Stick
Learning why clarity isn’t common sense and how to set expectations that don’t get misunderstood.

Session 3: Feedback Without Defensiveness
Delivering feedback that’s specific, timely, and respectful without triggering a shutdown.

Session 4: Coaching Without Taking Over
Developing people without rescuing them. Building ownership, not dependence.

Session 5: Accountability Without Shame or Avoidance
Holding people accountable in a way that protects dignity and actually moves things forward.
